$NESN (-1,22 %)

While eating chocolate lentils, I just realized again how dominant Nestle is:

The Smarties are from Nestle. They're accompanied by a Nespresso, which is not the highest level of enjoyment like from a portafilter, but perfectly fine for at home and reasonably priced.

As a child, I always drank Nesquick, and I still enjoy a packet of KitKat today.

When we go to a restaurant, we often have San Pellegrino or Auqa Panna on the table.

And who doesn't love Thomy Mayo?

Maggi is also a must in many kitchens.

And we all know Purina or Felix pet food.

And the punch line? They are all Nestle products! It's always great how basic consumer stocks are present in everyday life. This gives me the security as an investor that these companies will survive even in a stock market crash and will always be cash cows as long as the management doesn't make complete snot. These companies are too deeply rooted in our society for their sales to collapse abruptly.

I can see the problems Nestle has, but I think they will recover like Unilever in 3-5 years.

Then everyone who bought now will be happy.
