@stefan_21 you as a crypto expert. Do you know how to exchange from Ledger Live $ADA to $BTC?

I searched for Nami/Minswap as in the documentation but found nothing...

@GGHyperX I haven't used Ledger for a long time, but there used to be a "Swap" button for cryptocurrencies. So if you go to Cardano, there should be "Swap" next to "Buy" and "Sell". And then you could swap that into Bitcoin. But I don't know whether swapping is supported for ADA and whether it's still the same as it was a few years ago...

If necessary, you would simply have to sell ADA and then buy Bitcoin.

Only have the options:

Send
Receive
Stake
Buy

@GGHyperX just looked it up :)
"You can swap crypto assets in Ledger Live. This service is offered through our third-party partner Changelly and supports swapping Bitcoin (BTC) , Ethereum (ETH), XRP, Stellar (XLM), Solana (SOL), Polkadot (DOT), Tether (USDT), USDC and many more!"

Swap at ADA is not supported as far as I can see...

@stefan_21 had then sent the coins directly to Binance and exchanged them for BTC

@stefan_21Is there actually a way to transfer BTC (cheaper) than via the BTC blockchain from Binance to the ledger? I have to pay almost 7€ in fees
Imagen de perfil
@GGHyperX Yes and no :D
Binance is not really ideal for smaller purchases. Sure, you have low fees, but Binance charges a fixed fee in Bitcoin for withdrawals, which I find pretty stupid.

So it's not even the BTC network fees you have to pay, Binance just shoves it in :D

You could have the Bitcoin paid out more cheaply with Lightning. However, the swap from Lightning to OnChain then costs additional fees...
You'd have to see how much cheaper it would be to use Lightning and whether it's worth it :)
