The Czech Ministry of Defense has signed a contract for the purchase of two Embraer C-390 Millennium multi-role transport aircraft.
The Czech Air Force thus becomes the fourth NATO nation and the fifth European country to introduce the versatile type.
The NATO countries Portugal and Hungary are already operating the multifunctional transport aircraft, as is the Netherlands, which also decided to procure the C-390 this year.
