•@Dividenden-Penner BASF's business in Germany is making losses below the line and is only "saved" by the other regions. The high energy prices are, of course, having a massive impact on BASF and, due to the current (green) policy, I do not see any (political) efforts to solve or change this in the foreseeable future.
Therefore, there are two scenarios for me: - BASF continues to drag along the loss-making business in Germany and hopes for positive effects from the other regions - BASF reacts to this and relocates large parts of the production to other countries, which will inevitably lead to a large restructuring effort and high costs. I see my capital invested more sensibly and, above all, more profitably in other shares.

@MeepMeep For me, that would be scenario 2, which is exciting, but it would cost years and billions. In the meantime, I'm sure better investments can be found.
