First tranche from PayPal $PYPL (-0,44 %) purchased 💸

After much deliberation, I opened my first position in PayPal today. I believe in the long-term potential of the company, especially in the area of digital payments. The current valuation seemed attractive to me after the recent market weakness.

Let's see how the investment develops - I'm excited! What do you think of PayPal $PYPL (-0,44 %) ? Are you already invested or are you still watching the stock?

I am invested. I no longer expect any particular momentum, but steady growth.

@But_the_Stock_Picked_Me possibly the same journey as Shopify, where I got in at €25 :-) Price trend similar.

Hope for a correction in the middle/end of 2025 to be able to buy cheaply again

@Johann96 Maybe set up a savings plan? I have so often hoped for corrections that never really happened. But of course that only makes sense for buy and hold - then it doesn't matter so much about a few percent that you might have missed.
@But_the_Stock_Picked_Me still have $SQ and $UPST in the depot, in addition to $PYPL.

I am well in the plus with all positions and do not want to overweight the fintechs.

If, for example, Paypal corrects, I will gladly buy again and be happy, if not then I will hold and be happy too 😉

I have been invested in PayPal for about a year and also expect further growth. Both on the economic side (sales, profit) and the share price movement. In terms of the share price, a nice picture has emerged with potential. Of course, this all depends on the economic and political environment.

I've been invested for some time now, got in at € 107 and hope to break even soon.

I got in back then and bought up to below 60 entry price...then the thing fell so often again after the figures and I sold it at 72 because I thought it would fall a 5th time...was probably nothing
