trillion dollars in assetswhich represents an increase of around 4 trillion dollars a ten years ago.

That is an increase of 150% in 10 years or the equivalent of around 9.6% per year. So the growth in assets is pretty much in line with the growth in world ETFs. Now the question is: where does Blackrock's growth come from? From share price gains over the period or really new clients and new capital inflows?
