I opened my first position in gold - as I am firmly planning to sell it over the next few years, EUWAX is enough for me, better to sell and no big spot price difference - in my opinion, physical gold is obsolete ^^

@Epi To the SOS pushers: What else than Fomo should you be buying right now? I have been writing my fingers to the bone for 1.5 years that gold should be heavily weighted and now, at the highest price ever, I am buying.
It would make more sense to wait until the price returns to the breakout level. Only those who are afraid of missing out on a further rise will not do that. Fomo, that is.

@Epi so to use an abbreviated term and then not explain it when asked I find it weird but good

Gold for me is something like a world etf or stable stocks like Microsoft, blackrock, waste management, Allianz etc. that (almost) always grow - yes you might have/can time the market there but better to invest/buy when the price rises than not at all because you are also waiting for a price drop = you can do something like that in my opinion. Don't buy at the *wrong* time but possibly buy at a *good* time and then at a *very good* time - both are good

@__FunFun__ "FOMO" is a standing term, similar to ETF. You can also quickly google it. The man himself 😉

I find the comparison of gold with long-term growth stocks strange. Gold is a completely different asset class with completely different characteristics. Gold is cyclical and you can definitely buy it at too high a price.

@Luffy3D2Y 1 year is the minimum because of the taxes xD - I plan to hold it for a few years but because it's EUWAX I'm more or less softlocked to hold it for at least a year ^^
