New challenge

Inspired by @GoDividend who complained that only a few people post their losses here (with $DRO (+6,63 %) ), here is a new challenge. Post the transaction with which you realized the highest loss (percentage or absolute, your decision) and why. Mark the whole thing with the tag #lossporn and off you go.

In $YOU (+5,18 %) I invested in Scayle, the e-com platform belonging to About You, and diligently took the plunge. My first purchase was at over 20 euros. I then sold at 4.63 euros. You can even find a post from me on my profile about $YOU (+5,18 %)

Why did I sell? Because I got rid of all individual stocks as part of a change in strategy. And because Scayle is not as cool as I thought.

Fittingly, I nominate @GoDividend , @DividendenWaschbaer , @Der_Dividenden_Monteur and anyone else who's up for it

Why don't you write "shares for the loss offset pot"
That doesn't sound so harsh

In fact, I don't have a big realized loss.
But my biggest unrealized position is $BIGG with -95%.

Typical beginner's mistake with Canadian penny stocks. That's why I'm not in $DRO 😂

Must go looking tonight

Fisker -79%
Europlasma -89%

... without a great strategy. Just stupid gambling decisions in a beer mood.
Whereby the percentages are worse than the money, there wasn't much at stake...

Currently $NCH2 with ~-30%. But the worst loss was none at all. $ENR bought well, well above the doubling, then the Gamesa case, panicked and sold instead of buying the dip and well - left a lot of money lying around, but no minus 🥲

I sold Droneshield yesterday at +14% and am waiting for a favorable entry point at EUR 0.60 - 0.70, as I still find the company very interesting. My biggest losses the year before last were Intel with -45% where I invested in Microsoft and my Gazprom corpse with -67% which has been in the portfolio forever. If it weren't for the political situation, I would still be convinced of the company.
Since then, I no longer invest directly in such countries. I also stay away from China.

$LEOd -30% in 22h.... then quickly out again... sometimes it goes well with the short-term things, sometimes not... but was only in with 100€. But every euro I lose through something like that hurts me. btw. they're broke now anyway
