Hola!

A question for all Austrian residents: REITs are taxed as non-reporting funds, which is why stocks like $O (+1,22 %) are not worthwhile.

But what about $MAIN (+0,27 %) what is the situation? I always put it in the REIT corner without doing any further research until I recently found out that it isn't a REIT at all.

Is it $MAIN (+0,27 %) also treated as a non-reporting fund? I've just googled it, but somehow I can't find a satisfactory answer.

Thanks for your answers! :)

$MAIN is a BDC, not a REIT, but I don't know whether it is taxed differently in your country.
