With something like that, I always ask myself whether you, or in this case "woman", really need something like that. Finance and the markets work the same for everyone - they don't make an exception just because you're m/f/d. I think even from a woman's perspective this is a heated discussion. @California_Dreamin @FrauManu @Lorena and the other ladies, what's your opinion?

@Krush82 I think that apps like Vitamin are more about educating people about the gender pay gap, etc. The second step is to explain the different forms of investment, such as shares and ETFs. The second step is then to explain the different forms of investment such as shares and ETFs and adapt them to the needs. Everyone learns differently and the conditions for men and women are still different. Unfortunately, you still see a lot more men active in the financial market than women, so an app just for women is a cool step to solve this problem, isn't it?

@EarlybirdJulian I really miss the added value. I think it will take more than just an app to make a lasting change.

@California_Dreamin what you should stand by or why you need an extra finance app for women?

@Krush82 I must admit that I was also very skeptical at the beginning. But if we look at what the goal of it is, namely to get more women interested in finance, it works. Yes, the markets and products are the same, but many women don't feel addressed by conventional sites. A special offer for women can do that, because it plays more strongly on topics that interest women (children, career and motherhood, etc.), because it chooses a different target group approach, brings women together with like-minded people, etc. Accordingly, I think it's totally okay if such offers (of course, only if it's not total snot, but that's everywhere) exist and help to bring women closer to the world of finance, who would otherwise not be enthusiastic about it. Watch out when it gets scammy or when it widens the gender gap (aka "as a woman you're not smart enough to use "normal" offers"). Unfortunately, the financial world still has the problem of looking very male and being very male-dominated. That's just intimidating and fuels a lot of prejudices ...
