If you as an airline place a fresh firm order for an A320 today, you can consider yourself lucky to actually get the aircraft delivered in the early 2030s. Even Lufthansa, Emirates etc. are unlikely to get the aircraft any faster despite priority, unless someone ahead of them in the order queue cancels the order.
