What do you think about the $VAR1 (-1,19 %) shares? Varta is insolvent but the shares always bounce from time to time. I would like to read your opinions.

Anyone asking about this should not confuse the stock exchange with a casino

You are still new to the business and dream of making a lot of profit in a short space of time when you follow charts like Varta. Looking back on high price jumps, you wonder whether you can make a similar gamble. Try it out, don't moan if it goes wrong, which is very likely, and learn your lesson for the future. The sooner the better for your career as an investor. At some point you will have this experience one way or another.

The few times I tried this in my early days, it always backfired colossally. You should always bear in mind that according to the STARUG method, the fair value of these shares is exactly 0 and this is exactly the direction in which the shares will develop in the long term. You can of course speculate on catching the right moments for such price jumps, but the probability of this backfiring is extremely high because the trend is clearly pointing downwards. The alternative is to invest in functioning companies. Not a difficult decision for me.

What exactly do you want to know now?

Why do you want that?
The private investors will be expropriated anyway, that has long been decided and is part of the insolvency proceedings.

Wirecard's share price is also still going up and down.
I would no longer invest in Varta because the risk/reward ratio looks very poor
