Why target and not Walmart or someone else

•@topicswithhead $WMT and $COST I still had in the pot. $TGT has just come back a little at the moment, I like the dividend yield and payout ratio.

@topicswithhead As a customer, I personally like Target the best. It's easy to buy something quickly, it's usually closer, not as huge as Walmart, not 100 different salespeople blocking your aisles, you just feel more comfortable. It's just a snapshot of course, but I'm pleasantly surprised! 😃

@Gerit Are you German or not? The US usually likes it when you have it bigger or do you live over there now?

@topicswithhead Of course you're right, I also feel very comfortable here in a small Aldi, but I have the feeling that the younger people in particular also like it more here (Target), meanwhile I also understand why Walmart has so many employees, they sometimes have 2-3 people standing in the store just to greet you, one person at the exit who dutifully checks, that you have a shopping list, 2 people at the self-checkouts who greet you and show you where there is still a free checkout and just not from the wrong side, independently approach one although half is free, then you can discuss for 5 minutes that you don't see it again to walk completely around the outside, just to stand right here again 😂
Based on the observations, I would rather invest in Target than Walmart.
For me, by the way, an investment in McDonalds has also been completely ruled out, EVERY American I have spoken to who has ever been to a McDonalds outside America has advised me not to eat in one here, I tried it once in a new one and it only "tasted" like cardboard (except for the sauce).
I've only been living here for 5 months, I was really looking forward to it before, especially the warm Florida, but now I only see the streets, food trucks & fast food everywhere, some things are of course "cool" (e.g. this "America is Awesome - patriotism"), but I still miss Germany, especially in terms of quality of life.
Only the weather would keep me here.
