Dont look at the value but at the dividends, look at zim , was also 70 % down but at least i got 700$ dividends this year, few years and i got my money back+ there after free money
The problem is that $SBLK doesn't pay consistent dividends. Their yield can be a bumpy ride so I see that it's too risky to hold while they decrease their dividends and competitors like $GOGL have a much better financial position and better expectations.
