That's why they don't deploy on a Friday. The reason is a bug in their kernel. I just read on Hackernews that all US airlines are grounded.

@Joris do not install any system-relevant updates on a Friday ^^ and bug in the central operating system kernel of Windows that causes the errors

@KapriolenCapital To avoid this, you normally have a backup test system to test this. Do they live behind the moon? 😅

@KapriolenCapital Airports in England, Australia, India and Germany are also reporting problems.

@InvestRookie or the updates are delayed for just such cases, which is why our hospital is still alive right now

@InvestRookie Heads will definitely roll. The QA must have been wrong. They have completely driven their reputation against the wall

@Mcl1991 find the feature stupid ;(

@VincP3 The railroad has a monitored telephone network with which the dispatchers call each other and then the train drivers. Everything is recorded.
And an update is made every Friday... 🤷‍♂️

@KapriolenCapital Whether the error is "in their kernel" or not doesn't really matter. If it turns out to be true that the problem was triggered by a crowdstrike update $CRWD, then there is a lack of adequate QA processes there. The error itself (in the Microsoft kernel) may be there, but it may have been triggered somewhere else. The Crowdstrike share is reacting accordingly...
