Hope you all had a good start into your weekend :)

$BTC (-0,45 %) will probably make us wait a little longer to reach the 100,000USD mark.

I haven't sold yet either, but will do so at the next opportunity. As I mentioned in one of my last posts, I expect a correction of around 30% in January.

Otherwise, my week on the stock market was rather quiet. The only action I took was $MSFT (+1,66 %) to sell with a plus of about 15%. I think that the share still has great potential, but I wanted to liquidate one of my tech positions.

My guess is that in the coming week (02.12-06.12) we will all be back in the black in our portfolios.

How was your week on the stock market?

Lg and a sunny weekend to you all.

Plus 0.4%
What makes you so sure about the 30% correction? How do you know that? If it's that certain, I don't think $MSTR would invest so much MRD NOW in $BTC

@Tobi60 Of course I don't know, but that is my assessment. This year simply went far too well for all of us and I generally expect a correction in Q1 2025. Of course, I could be wrong and in the end none of us knows what the future holds.

But my prediction is that we will drop to 75-80k and maybe even scratch the 200,000USD mark by the end of 2025. Let's see, next year will definitely be very exciting for crypto and the market as a whole.

But now I still see a green December!

@FloShares why don't you just hold out and then maybe buy more?

@Tobi60 am more a fan of realizing profits
@FloShares My prediction would be that when DT is sworn in in January and the Bitcoin reserve becomes an issue, things will really heat up again.

I'm looking forward to February to see which of us is right :-)

What are your other tech positions that you want to liquidate your tech position in one of the strongest tech stocks🤔? Admittedly, I won't believe the BTC correction until it's here, I would be rather cautious with my assessment😉. My week was slightly red, but that doesn't matter for the overall monthly performance and long term anyway, hence what🤷🏼‍♂️.

@All-in-or-nothing My other tech positions are $AAPL, $AMZN. $MSFT was also the smallest here, so I took the profit and will see what happens. Maybe it will find its way back into my portfolio.

Yes, the next few months will be exciting for $BTC. Some say it will continue to go up, others expect a crash to 50k. I'm assuming a small correction here (30% for crypto😂). But I'm sure that Bitcoin will find its way back into my portfolio sooner or later, because I'm a big fan of BTC. However, I am also a big fan of realizing profits. Perhaps I should also mention that I'm from Austria and that the "1-year holding period rule" doesn't apply here.

@FloShares phew, okay, personally I would probably have parted with Apple, but I understand the approach with the smallest position and all that. Well, of course you don't have an advantage with BTC if it doesn't have a 1-year time limit gibt🤷🏼‍♂️. But yes, BTC remains tense, I'm expecting a minor setback before it continues upwards geht👍🏻 We'll see what happens😉
