I would not buy them as a long-term investment. The value depends heavily on the cyclical price of wood. You can buy it when the timber prices are at the bottom, but not now. Over the last 52 years, the stock has fallen a whopping -5.44% (following the fluctuations in the lumber price). You had a nice dividend, but it's not high enough to offset the price either. In my view, not a long-term investment and not a good time to buy. Of course you can buy cyclicals, but the right moment is important. No investment advice
