I, too, have only had very good experiences with insurance companies, at least as far as making money is concerned.😁👍
A few months ago I accidentally stumbled across $TRV (+1,05 %) mainly because I immediately liked the logo 😁 and I took a closer look at the stock.

Here are a few details from Q1 23 earnings from the end of April.
- $975 million net income or $4.13 per share
- Capital returned to shareholders $680 million of which $218 million was paid out in dividends and shares repurchased for $462 million.
- The dividend will be increased in June for the 19th consecutive year by 8% to $1 per quarter, which currently represents a dividend of 2.10%. At about 25% payout quite solid.
- A further $5 billion has been authorized for share repurchases.
