There is news in the matter of Volkswagen. It seems that Herbert Diess will keep his seat as CEO. I put VW preferred shares in my portfolio at the time because Diess' determination convinced me. I like how radically he is driving the turnaround to electric mobility. That's why I would have sold all my shares if VW had dumped Diess. Now I'm delighted if he remains CEO. Then I see good opportunities for Volkswagen as a future big player in electromobility.

What do you think?

Well, I'm not really enthusiastic about Diess, but VW and Porsche will be successful. Porsche is already selling twice as many units in the luxury segment with the Taycan than Tesla with the S. Tesla is still leading in the mid-range segment with Model 3 - but that will change in the near future. Here, VW absolutely has the potential to overtake Tesla and leave it far behind.... In addition, VW owns Skoda and Seat, among others, which also already offer (perhaps the better VW) E-models. Tesla will not remain the market leader in the mass market, there are too many and large competitors for that. However, VW has every chance due to capacities, experience, pricing, model diversity, brand and market breadth.... VW is also not dependent on Diess. He is replaceable. At VW, it's the unhyped product that ultimately decides. With Tesla and Musk, it's rather the other way around...

Nothing to do with Diess, spin-off from Porsche announced.
I am not enthusiastic about either Elektro or Diess.
