How can a Dutch company be in the Dax? $QGEN


In Germany, a company that does not have its legal seat in Germany can be
has can be included in the Dax under two conditions:


1. a company could then gain access to the leading index if part of the management is located in DE.



2. inclusion in the Dax is also possible if at least 33 percent of global share trading takes place on German stock exchanges.


Qiagen's operational headquarters are located in Hilden near Düsseldorf.

I think that Qiagen is a domestic legal entity. The legal domicile refers to the focus of the company's activities. Qiagen could therefore even have its registered office abroad. If you would like to know more about this, you can read up on the German fundamental rights of foreign legal entities. With regard to the above criteria, these are treated like domestic legal entities for reasons of the prohibition of discrimination under Art. 18 TFEU (European law).
