Crescent Point Energy share price increases

For the second time in two months, Crescent Point Energy Corp. announced a higher dividend payout for its shareholders.

In an after-hours announcement Wednesday, the Calgary-based oil and gas producer said its quarterly dividend will increase nearly 24 percent to $0.08 per share starting with the payout scheduled for Oct. 3. Just two days earlier, on July 4, shareholders received their first dividend since Crescent Point announced a 40 percent increase in May.
