Stake taken out💰💸

Started investing in bitcoin about a year ago, price around 33k. I think a lot is priced in due to Trump's statements, whether all this will be implemented remains to be seen. That's why I pulled out my stake and let profits run for what's to come.

about a year ago means no taxes were incurred?
No, there is still a €1000 exemption limit. First purchase was at the beginning of November 23, then via a savings plan. So partly tax-free, partly taxable, but well below the limit.

@Flantox Is now 1000 euros. Section 23 EStG: "Profits remain tax-free if the total profit generated from private sales transactions in the calendar year was less than EUR 1,000."

@Dirkuules well then it all fits 🥳
Question, with my custody account, the broker automatically takes care of the whole issue of tax lump sums. Does your crypto provider also settle it directly with the tax office? Or do you have to submit it later?

@Spliff Nope, at the moment you have to specify this yourself.
