Why do so many people always sell when things don't look good in the meantime?

@Tjakos Paperhands. Instead of buying more, a minus is realized. I have no idea why the sails are hauled in at the slightest lull.

I'm not a fan of going back and forth either, because it's poison for the portfolio. But if I'm down 20 percent on a position AND I'm not convinced that there will be a turnaround in the medium term, then I chalk it up as a mistake and sell the stock.

Whether BMW would be such a case at the moment is a matter for everyone to decide on their own valuation.

PS: I now have BMW on my watch list because I think the stock is undervalued. However, I see the automotive sector as a whole as difficult terrain ...

Let's see, maybe I'll go in with 5-10k.
