I have a junior custody account for the boy at ING. Almost all the money he gets goes into an All World and S&P500 ETF. Both distributing for tax purposes. And he also has an Nvidia in his custody account 😬

@DB2310 Have you taken a close look at the costs?
@Mongoele Why distributing for tax purposes? Are you trying to pay a lot of taxes?

@Lukas2998 Utilize the child's tax-free allowance

@Mongoele the tax-free amount can be better utilized with partial sales.

@Lukas2998 Why is that better? I can also make the partial sales if necessary

@Mongoele but dividends cannot be taxed. Given the investment horizon, they will probably exceed the tax-free amount.

@Lukas2998 Children have far more than €1000 tax-free
@Mongoele the amount does not change the fact that it can be better managed through partial sales.

@Lukas2998 I don't need to tax anything here for the time being. We currently have a return of well under €1000 and the child is 14 months old. Partial sales also cost money. And with ING it's not €1 like with TR. I can reinvest the distribution virtually for free via a savings plan
